PARKES, Central West, NSW, Australia - A woman has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West.
The woman's car, a Toyota Corolla, apparently left the Henry Parkes Way, about thirty kilometres west of Parkes, and struck a tree.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 7:30pm on Wednesday night.
Officers from the Central West Police District located the driver of the Corolla, who was the only person in the car. She was trapped in the crashed vehicle. The woman, 47, was treated after being extricated from the car, but she died at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam vision to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
