U.S. stocks in virtual coma

U.S. stocks continue to linger with trading remaining light.
The major indices meandered in and out of positive territory Wednesday but moves in either direction were ultra limited.
At the close of trading Wednesday the Dow Jones Industrials were up 3.10 points or 0.03% at 10,548.51.
The Nasdaq Composite was up 2.88 points or 0.13% at 2,291.28.
The Standard and Poor's 500 was up 0.02 of a point or 0.09% at 1,126.42.
On foreign exchange markets the British pound was in demand, climbing to 1.6072 by the New York close Wednesday.
The yen was weaker at 92.43, while the euro was little changed at 1.4331. The Swiss franc was last quoted at 1.0368, while the Australian dollar was fetching .8937.
